The first The Last Of Us video game was first announced by Sony back in December 2011 and it was released on PlayStation 3 worldwide in mid-2013. It took a year before the game got released to PS4. Now, according to some rumors, The Last Of Us 2 might launch soon.

The action-adventure survival video game soon became one of the most acclaimed games of its genre. The plot evolves in a post-apocalyptic scenario, focusing on two main characters, Joel and teenager Ellie, trying to stay alive while being constantly threatened by zombies. The Last Of Us was praised for being the most emotional and perhaps the best game of the past years.

In the past few years, Sony has been teasing the release of The Last Of Us 2. The game was first announced at 2016’s PlayStation Experience event. At last year’s E3 press conference, Sony surprised fans all over the world with a brand new trailer for The Last Of Us 2. The video is an 11-minute long presentation, including a lot of action and character interactions, taking place five years after the original game’s events. Ever since the release of this trailer, Sony has not disclosed any more information of the sequel for The Last Of Us, not until now anyway.

Fans have been speculating that this year’s E3 will bring us news on the game but, unfortunately, Sony will not be participating at 2019’s Electronic Entertainment Expo. However, according to Akoji, a known Sony insider, there is a high probability that we are going to get details on the video game even sooner than we thought.

It seems that Naughty Dog, the game-developing studio owned by Sony, will make an official announcement soon. It is not known yet if this means we are going to get a release date or a new trailer, but we sure are excited. The Last Of Us 2 announcement is expected to drop towards the end of this month.

Of course, this information is not official, as it is only a leak. There have also been many rumors regarding the official release date of the video game, but Sony hasn’t confirmed anything yet. Still, fans are hoping to hear new details about The Last Of Us 2 as soon as possible.

Minecraft AR Game Teased By Microsoft

Microsoft has teased a new Minecraft AR game, and some users will be surprised. A new teaser has been trailed, and it seems that an augmented reality title will be announced in the following weeks.

During the short video, we can see two persons, a male, and a female, who sit on a bench, and their smartphones are placed within them. When the man leaves, he takes the woman’s smartphone by mistake. The woman picks up the device and unlocks the screen. We can see a few sights over-imposed on the camera image, including a pig and some villagers, Microsoft has teased a mixed reality version of the game for the HoloLens.

At first sight, the game looks quite similar to the favorite Niantic games, as it seamlessly mixes the real and digital world. A reliable source has already claimed that the title is currently in development under the codename of Genoa.

Microsoft teased a new Minecraft AR game

Microsoft purchased the popular IP for 2.5 billion. In 2015 the CEO of the company declared that one of the main attractions was the fact that the IP has excellent potential for augmented reality spin-offs.

The date of the announcement is May 17, which is quite essential since it marks the 10th anniversary of the title. A special event has been scheduled for the same date, and Microsoft has decided to exclude Notch, the creator of the game, from the activity due to a series of controversial statements and tweets.

So for these cookies, Google has a new tool that will decrease their ability to collect data from users. Google has around three billion ads on its browser, and that is making it the largest seller of internet ads. The company is ahead of Facebook with 20% regarding selling ads.

After six years of planning, Google has decided to stop tracking cookies on its Google Chrome browser, especially after the incident related to Facebook and the personal data of users shared with Cambridge Analytica.

Finally, the critical task of the company is to track targeting cookies installed by the third parties that are profit-seekers. Other browsers like Apple’s Safari or Mozilla’s Firefox have stopped the majority of tracking cookies. Apple decided in 2017 to stop cookies in the browser by default, and Mozilla had taken action last year.

YouTube Originals To Soon Become Free For non-YouTube Premium Users

If you are a non-YouTube Premium user, do not worry because YouTube will offer you access to the so-called YooTube Originals version of its Cobra Kai series for free, but with ads. YouTube continues to focus more on unscripted content and shifts away from scripted YouTube Originals, their priority being learning and personality-driven content.

As Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Hulu are preparing for the launch of Dinsey+ which will take place in November, the crowd in the original content market gets bigger and more expensive these days. With that being said, YouTube does not want to deal with any additional problems of managing user-uploaded content, purchased content, and trying to get YouTube Music into shape.

As Bloomberg hinted at YouTube Originals going free with ads, this news does not come as a surprise in the wake of YouTube canceling much of its original content back in March. A confirmation has been given by YouTube that its annual Brandcast event will take place and that Originals content will no longer require a fee, but it will include ads if free users want to access it.

With that being said, you should not misunderstand this. YouTube Originals are not entirely dead and will not be because, for example, the renewal of Cobra Kai for a third season has been announced by YouTube at Brandcast.

In addition to that, as mentioned before, YouTube decided to shift its focus into personality-driven and topic-driven unscripted content for things like science, beauty, cooking, music, and art, YouTube continuing even more on the musical side of the business. They would instead become a competitor for Spotify with YouTube Music than have a YouTube Premium Add-on.

The good news is that if you were suffering from not being able to access YouTube Originals because of that few, wipe your tears because you will be able to see all that content for free.
