According to the folks at Thurrott, Microsoft has decided to create a couple of new versions of its Surface Pro tablets which are powered by Intel processors. Surface Pro 6 is the latest model that Microsoft offers and it is powered by Intel Core i5 or Core i7. Well, it looks like Microsoft has been inspired by the likes of Apple who launch multiple versions of its iPad Pro because the Windows parent is reportedly getting ready to launch a couple of new Surface Pro models that are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor.

Even though Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processors are quite popular with other companies, Microsoft has never shown interested. Nonetheless, what we can take from this is that ARM-based laptops and tablets are losing their popularity.

What makes this tablet special is the fact that its being developed specially to compete against Apple’s iPad. Microsoft To Combine Xbox Live Gold With Xbox Game Pass [which just got Minecraft]

We just talked about the incredible sale of Minecraft in the past 10 years since it launched on PC, and it’s still rising. The sales will continue to get higher not just on PC, but also on more platforms if Microsoft will combine the two subscriptions into a single one.

This person claims that the service will only be $14.99 per month, which is quite the bargain, considering Xbox owners will save almost $5 per month if Microsoft really wants to combine the services. As The Verge pointed out, Microsoft will certainly reveal something about this in the next weeks when they will unveil the disc-less Xbox One S All-Digital edition.

It’s simple: it makes perfect sense, and it’s a good strategy, which has been used in the past by Microsoft. A series of rumors which surfaced in the past claimed that Microsoft is working on a disc-less Xbox One variant aimed at people who prefer to buy their games digitally. It was codenamed Xbox Maverick, but we recently found out that its name would be Xbox One S “All-Digital Edition.” Xbox Maverick would launch in May.

A reliable source claims that the rumors are real and the new Xbox One model would be released across all the existing Xbox markets which can be found in the world. A previous report suggested that Microsoft will reveal the disc-less Xbox One and another premium variant during the E3 conference which is scheduled for June. Microsoft has plenty of time at its disposal, and it may change its options in the following weeks.

However, some analysts believe that Microsoft will reveal the next generation of Xbox consoles at E3. It is thought that the device will offer a substantial power improvement in that will overtake the native 4K capabilities of the Xbox One X.
