Pokemon Sword and Shield Release Date Update And News On Its Features

Did you miss the Nintendo Pokemon Direct live stream? We got you covered as we will present to you all the new information about the new Pokemon Sword and Shield. With a confirmed date release, November 15th, Nintendo showed us the new creatures and characters of the new upcoming Pokemon game.

Also, the game will feature a new “Wild Area”, a new battle mechanic named Dynamax, and Max Raid Battles. As we are used to, we will have new Pokemon characters. Gen 8 brings Wooloo, Gossifleur, and Drednaw. We will also have a game’s flying taxi, Corviknight that will allow us to visit towns and areas in the game.

Let’s take a look at the new features in Pokemon Sword and Shield

Coming as a big addition of Pokemon Sword and Shield, the Wild Area is a vast landscape between the main cities and you can explore it as much as you want. Here you will be in complete control of the camera and, at different times of the day and weather, you can spot different Pokemon.

With the Pokemon from the Galar region being able to grow in size and boost the power of their moves, the new battle mechanic called Dynamax will be available to use only once per battle so you’ll have to be very careful as the other trainers will have the same power. Not such a great thing is the Dynamax Pokemon returns to their original form after three turns, so you’ll have to use it wisely.

If you want to make a team with other trainers and kick some giant Dynamax Pokemon ass, you can use the new multiplayer component of Pokemon Sword and Shield, Max Raid battles. Remember that only one of the trainers will be able to Dynamax their Pokemon, so choose wisely if you won’t want to lose these max raid battles. The release date for the Nintendo Switch of the new Pokemon Sword and Shield is November 15th, this year, and we can’t wait for it to play!

Trainers from all over the world, prepare yourself because new information about the next Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch is coming. Next week, Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, at 2 PM BST/9 AM EDT/6 AM PDT, Pokemon Sword and Shield will come at a special Nintendo Direct edition.

Until now, only a dedicated Direct live stream for the games was on the page, but now we will have 15 minutes of new information on Pokemon Sword and Shield for Switch.

A Pokemon Nintendo Direct presentation will be live next week. If until now we had only the revealing from the first trailer, the confirmations of the names, settings, and the introduction of starter Gen 8 Pokemon (Grookey, Sobble, and Scorbunny) imagine what we will see now.

Special Pokemon Sword and Shield Nintendo Direct Will Come Next Week

A Pokemon Press Conference was held yesterday at 6 PM PDT or 2 AM BST and 9 PM EDT. Even if the Nintendo Direct is next week, we think that the conference was not related to Pokemon Sword and Shield. And the luck was on our side yesterday, and we received information on four new Pokemon projects, including Pokemon Masters, a new game in the franchise.

Until the biggest gaming convention E3 2019, that is two weeks apart, Pokemon fans will have their own piece of cake from the special Nintendo Direct broadcasting, and it’s all dedicated to Pokemon Sword and Shield. Don’t forget, Nintendo Direct will be on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels, on June 5th, from 2 PM BST, 6 AM PT and 9 AM Et, and it will run for 15 minutes.

Pokemon Sword and Shield will be the next significant release in the popular Pokemon franchise, and it’s expected for Nintendo Switch later this year. On the other hand, at the Pokemon conference held yesterday, we learned about Pokemon Masters, also an upcoming game in the series.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Might Be Compatible With Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO is a mobile game developed and released by Niantic, available for Android and iOS. It was launched in 2016, gaining popularity extremely fast. By the end of 2016, Pokemon GO had been downloaded more than 500 million times by users all around the world. Pokemon Sword and Shield is one of the most expected releases of the year, having been officially announced on Pokemon Day, February 27, 2019, during a Nintendo Direct announcement.

At 2017’s E3 conference, Tsunekazu Ishihara, president and CEO of The Pokemon Company, announced their next game series would be released on Nintendo Switch, but no more information was divulged at the time.

Game Freak is the leading developer of Pokemon games for Nintendo, which also develops Pokemon Sword and Shield for Nintendo Switch. Rumors say the developer is planning to make Pokemon GO compatible with the newest release of the franchise.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Might Be Compatible With Pokemon GO

A Pokemon GO dataminer, Chrales, found evidence to back up the rumors of the potential compatibility between Pokemon Sword and Shield and Pokemon GO. Chrales discovered that while looking through the game’s code of the latest Pokemon GO 0.143.0. He came upon a new string referred to as “koala_settings,” which seem to be made for a separate app. The source says the name “koala.”

Chrales believes that “koala” might be the codename internally used to refer to Pokemon Sword and Shield. We already know Game Freak has a habit of matching each game with an animal or natural element, so the theory seems plausible. For example, Game Freak’s previous release, Pokemon Let’s Go, Pikachu! & Let’s Go, Eevee, went by the codename “beluga.”

None of the two developer companies made any official announcement yet, so the rumors that Pokemon Sword and Shield would be compatible with Pokemon GO should be taken with a grain of salt. However, we hope they are correct, as the possibility to connect Niantic’s augmented reality mobile game to Game Freak’s newest console game sounds extremely exciting.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Rumors Talk About Two Regions In These Games – Galar and Kalos

As any other awaited game, Pokemon Sword and Shield are the subjects of plenty of speculations that goes over the internet. The latest suggestion, or rumor as we call it, would be that these upcoming Nintendo Switch games would feature two regions: Galar and Kalos.

We do not really have details about the Pokemon Sword and Shield games as they were not released, but at least the titles are known, and we also know that it will be available on the Nintendo Switch in late 2019.

There will be three new starter Pokemon in these games: Scobble, Grookey, and Scorbunny. The new Galar region is also highlighted in the two-minute footage released along with the announcement of the games.

Rumors always find a source from which they feed. So, regarding Pokemon Sword and Shield games, some people saw some sparse details in the video. For example, a leak suggests that a concept called armored evolution will be introduced into the game. That might be true as other leaks from the same source were proven correct.

Pokemon Sword and Shield might feature both Galar and Kalor regions

There are rumors which are based on speculation, too, one being that the games will feature more than one region. To be more precise, another region might also be playable – the Kalos one.

The eighth region of Pokemon is almost certainly based on Britain, and it is the Galar region. However, for some reasons, several Pokemon Sword and Shield rumors talk about two regions in these games that would launch later this year for Nintendo Switch.

Kalos and Galar might also be at war. There is one theory that is actually a story-line of were it was playable for the first time, and it suggests why Kalos featured in Pokemon X and Y. Pokemon X and Y were released in 2013 and are based in France. In addition to that, Kalor is at war with an unknown region. In Pokemon Sword and Shield, Kalor might battle Galar.
