The Elder Scrolls 6 Detail You Might Have Not Noticed

The next game in The Elder Scrolls franchise that everyone is expecting to hear about is The Elder Scrolls 6. Sure, we just got a little TES on our mobile phones – The Elder Scrolls: Blades, but we’re all waiting for the sixth game in the series that will come out… eventually.

Right now, there is no official news about the game, but remember that lawsuit over the name Redfall? The one where everyone thought it would be the subtitle and hint the location of the game?

It seems that the game will be based in Hammerfell, and here is why it would make sense.

“The Elder Scrolls VI: Hammerfell”

When Bethesda celebrated the 25th anniversary, they revealed some footage of the games they released in the past, and thanks to this video, we realized that the developer has begun working on The Elder Scrolls 6 and that the location will be Hammerfell, probably focusing on the Red Guards.

You all saw the video and noticed a desert-like landscape, and it can only be Hammerfell, from where the Red Guards appear in Skyrim (which also got featured in the video). Now, connecting the previous “Redfall” issue with Red Guards and Hammerfell, it makes sense. If the lawsuit is not in favor for Bethesda and they cannot use the name Redfall, the next best choice would be Hammerfell, since it will be the location name, just like in Skyrim.

Also, these old images support the theory:

As for an official release date, there isn’t one. Unfortunately, the Elder Scrolls 6 will not make an appearance at E3, but since the production on the game slowly began in 2018, it The Elder Scrolls 6 (Hammerfell?) might be launched by the end of 2020, hopefully before the holidays.

Speculations aside, we all know the NPC that will make it to the next game: the awesome player known as “Skyrim Grandma,” Shirley Curry! Thanks to the petition signed by thousands of people, she will be immortalized in TES6!

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Game Can Now Be Played By Everyone

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a highly anticipated game, and Early Access finally became available at the end of March. However, in order to access the game, users had to wait for an invitation from Bethesda. The good news is that waiting is no longer needed. Now, The Elder Scrolls: Blades mobile game can be played by everyone.

Recently Bethesda announced that the game is now available for everyone. All you need to do in order to start playing the game is a Bethesda net account. The Elder Scrolls: Blades is available for free, and you can download it on both iOS and Android devices.

Bethesda also announced that they are working on the next improvement for the game. “Next up: We’re looking at all your feedback and rebalancing the most difficult enemy in the game… the silver chest” tweeted the studio.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades Game Can Now Be Played By Everyone

The game is a classic Elder Scrolls game, although it is the first mobile installment. According to Bethesda, the game has “console-quality graphics,” and the main difference is that Blades does not come with an open world. Nonetheless, there is a chance that the open world will become available in Blades as well.

“We could do it,” Bethesda director and executive producer Todd Howard said. “We’ll see how people interact with it. Because it’s mobile, we know people may play… We need you to get something meaningful done in 10 or 15 minutes. Do you know what I mean? Even though you could sit down and play it for as many hours as you want.”

Blades was initially supposed to come out in Fall 2018. However, we can see that the delay was worth it, as the game works smoothly for everyone now. The game is also supposed to become available on PC and consoles.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades – Bethesda Gives Early Access For Player Feedback

This weekend, Bethesda announced that they’re opening the gates for The Elder Scrolls: Blades, allowing more players to get in the Early Access stage of the game. What were the first opinions from major reviewers? Unfortunately for the developer, most of the feedback was negative, all complains were surrounding microtransactions and the chests!

Let’s check out the post on Twitter from The Elder Scrolls:

As you can see, the developers have acknowledged the chest issue and are looking into getting more feedback from the players. If you haven’t tried to play The Elder Scrolls: Blades yet, here’s a few stuff you should know about and why the loot chests are so annoying.

Bethesda Tweaking The Game as We Play It

Player feedback is essential, and it must be taken into consideration. So, those who played The Elder Scrolls: Blades, might have noticed that while the grind is pretty big, and the side quests a bit dull, the game is free-to-play though. Nonetheless, looking at the majority of people writing about the game, the microtransactions are making the game unbearable – and here’s where we talk about the chests you find in dungeons. To open a chest, you have to wait from five seconds (if it’s a wooden chest) to six hours (if it’s a gold chest). Of course, you can skip the waiting with some premium currency. That’s where many players got frustrated.

Skipping past the waiting for chests, the plot is interesting. You’re a former member of the Blades group, and you come home and see everything ablaze. Your goal is to rebuild the entire place on your own. It sure is a lot of work ahead, and we can not wait to see how the story evolves!

For the players that will not invest any money in the game, waiting can be annoying, but let’s admit it, all free to play games with microtransactions add certain limits to the game to make a premium user feel like they’re getting their money’s worth.

How will Bethesda play the premium feel card? Will they tweak the chests and make players pay for other features? Will we see silver lockpicks added in the game for the chest to make them less disappointing?

We can only wait and see what the devs will announce, hopefully taking into consideration the player feedback. Check back here for more news and if you have some thoughts about the game, head over to The Elder Scrolls Twitter page.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is available on Android an iOS, as an early access. If you haven’t signed up, check out this article to learn how to do it.

Mario Kart Tour, Diablo Immortal, and The Elder Scrolls: Blades Are The Most Anticipated Android Games in 2019

Smartphones became more performant than they used to be before, so Android games have moved from boasting simple graphics and gameplay to more sophisticated ones, Android and iOS turning into significant markets for games studios. Nowadays, many video games launched initially for consoles or PC reach smartphones and tablets. Today, we’ll talk about Mario Kart Tour, Diablo Immortal, and The Elder Scrolls: Blades which are the most anticipated Android games in 2019.

The Most Anticipated Android Games in 2019 – Mario Kart Tour, Diablo Immortal, and The Elder Scrolls: Blades

Mario Kart Tour

Mario Kart Tour was initially announced for Q1 2019. “The checkered flag has been raised, and the finish line is near. A new mobile application is now in development: Mario Kart Tour! Mario Kart Tour is releasing in the fiscal year ending in March 2019,” Nintendo reported in February 2019.

But the Japanese entertainment company decided to delay Mario Kart Tour release to the summer of 2019. Anyways, Mario Kart Tour would be a free-to-play game, but it would come with in-app purchases, a model that proved to be successful for the majority of game devs.

Diablo Immortal

Just like Mario Kart Tour, Diablo Immortal is also one of the most anticipated Android games in 2019. Diablo, maybe the most popular RPG franchise in gaming history, was the source of inspiration for many other role-playing games. Now, while the fans of the series expect Diablo 4 to come out next year (hopefully), Blizzard is working on Diablo Immortal, the next installment in the franchise.

Diablo Immortal promises to be a very successful Android game in 2019 thanks to the Diablo atmosphere and the Diablo-like style and gameplay.

During E3 2018, Bethesda revealed a short teaser of The Elder Scrolls 6, but it left the fans of the series disappointed as the company revealed nothing more about the title. However, the next installment in the franchise would be The Elder Scrolls: Blades, the first Android game of The Elder Scrolls series.

The Elder Scrolls: Blade, which similar to Mario Kart Tour and Diablo Immortal, is one of the top-3 most anticipated Android games in 2019, would boast more casual gameplay, but it would keep the fan-favorite elements of The Elder Scrolls saga.
