We’ve seen some incredible leaks over the past few weeks, and we might have an idea of the phones that are going to be released in 2019. We’ve also heard of some inventions that will feature in these new phones that are expected the next year, like 5G phones, the camera placed on screen, and foldable phones. They might even try to remove the notches.

Samsung Galaxy S10 Series

We found out about the screen size of the phones from the Samsung Galaxy S10 Series. The S10 comes with a 6.1-inch display, Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a 5.8-inch screen, S10 Plus comes with a 6.4-inch display, and S10 5G comes with a *huge* 6.66-inch screen.

All of these models will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an on-screen front camera (we still cannot believe it) and 93% screen-to-body radio. They’re probably going to have Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855 SoC when it comes to storage options: 128 GB or 1 TB.

Sony Xperia XZ4

These phones will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, with a 6GB worth of RAM, and internal storage space worth of 64 GB or 256 GB.

A leak showed that the phone might have a 6.55-inch screen and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It will also have a 3,900mAh battery, and 3-camera setup on its back.

Apple iPhone 11

Some leaks show that the new iPhone will have a 5.8-inches and 6.5-inches OLED screen, and one 6.1-inches LCD model. There are many rumors out there that say that it might come with 5G support. The phone might also come with a triple-array rear camera setup.

iOS 12.1.2 Update Cuts Mobile Data Connection for iPhone and iPad Devices

Apple launched the new iOS 12.1.2 version to address some bugs in the previous versions and to make some changes here and there. However, it seems that iOS 12.1.2 is moving from bad to worse for dozens of iPhone users around the world as, reportedly, the update cuts mobile data connection for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max, but also other iPhone models and iPad devices.

While the majority of iOS users are rushing to update the OS to the latest iOS 12.1.2 version, many reports rolled out on the Internet, on blogs, forums, and social media, all saying that the new iOS update is cutting mobile data connection for iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max. As for what has Apple said, the Cupertino-based company stated that it “addresses an issue that could affect cellular connectivity in Turkey for iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.”

That’s indeed ironic since, now, the issue expanded to all the iPhone 2018 models across the world, all these users having only one thing in common – the iOS 12.1.2 update.

iOS 12.1.2 Update Cuts Mobile Data Connection for iPhone and iPad Devices

According to dozens of reports posted on Twitter by iOS users, more and more iPhone owners are now suffering from mobile data connection drops after updating their devices to the new iOS 12.1.2 version. At first glance over those Twitter reports, the iOS 12.1.2 issue is affecting iPhone users across North America, Europe, Asia, and South America, as well.

“Thanks, Apple and Apple Support for the Christmas present. Since updating my iPhone to iOS 12.1.2 I can’t access cellular data,” said a Twitter user from New York, United States.

“AppleSupport, iPad Pro 2018 4g cellular only on iOS 12.1.1 and not 12.1.2? When will an update come? I sent you DM already,” said an iPad Pro 2018 user from India, showing that the iOS 12.1.2 updates is also affecting more Apple devices than iPhone XR, XS, and XS Max.

“AppleSupport, My iPhone X is having WiFi connection issues since I updated to iOS 12.1.2,” said an iOS user from Maryland, in the US, who is also the first to report a link between iOS 12.1.2 and potential WiFi connection errors.

While reports keep on flooding on social media, Apple did not share any comment on this iOS 12.1.2 bug. However, iOS 12.1.3 is just around the corner, as Apple started beta testing for this new version.

Google recently released a new web-based app, Google Canvas, a drawing app for sketching and taking notes, as well. Google Canvas is accessible at any time here, and it is working with any Internet browser, not only Google Chrome as other web-based apps launched by the giant Internet company.

Google Canvas allows you to draw and take notes, also, and all your works will automatically save on your Google Account, so they’ll be accessible anytime and from anywhere, and the only condition is to have an active Internet connection. You can also download your drawings in PNG format.

Google Canvas is a straightforward web-based drawing app

As regarding the drawing tools that Google’s new web-based drawing app boasts, the application is quite easy to use. Similarly to Microsoft’s Paint, Google Canvas also allows users to choose from different drawing utensils, each with its own characteristics. Therefore, you can draw using a pencil, ink pen, marker, or chalk.

Also, you can use the pre-defined colors or open up the palette and select basically any hex color. Besides, Google Canvas also packs an undo function and an eraser to repair any mistakes you might do when drawing or sketching.

Besides, Google Notes also allows users to draw, besides taking notes.

However, the best part of Google’s new web-based drawing app is the fact that it is compatible with any Internet browser that supports  WebAssembly.
