Minecraft: Education Edition For iOS To Come Out In September

If a few years ago we had been told that a game of building exaggerated polygons would serve to teach the younger ones in the classroom, we would not have believed it at all. That is what is happening with Minecraft, which, since Microsoft bought it, has not stopped growing in many aspects, including the education. And, by the way, Microsoft: Education Edition will be available for iOS in September.

Microsoft is convinced that Minecraft can significantly help students to become interested in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, so in order to reach as many students as possible, they have had to directly address to the most successful device in the classroom, namely, the iPad.

Apple’s work in providing resources and tools to schools has been incredible, lately, so it’s no surprise that their iPad tablets are among the most popular products found in schools.

Minecraft: Education Edition – A game designed for education purposes

As the iPad is the most popular device in schools, it hasn’t been a questionable choice for Microsoft to come up with a new Minecraft: Education Edition for iOS version. Even more, this brand new version of Minecraft for Apple devices will come out in two variants, one for teachers and one for students, each with its features.

The teacher would not be in charge of creating content in the Minecraft’s universe of blocks, but they could propose tasks and exercises that the students will have to complete. In this way, the students have the opportunity to learn and review concepts as they play, either alone or as a team.

The new Minecraft: Education Edition will arrive on iOS in September, right at the end of the holiday period, and it will be available for download directly from the official Apple’s App Store on iPad or iPhone, as well.

PlayStation 5: What we Know About the Next Console by Sony

With PlayStation 4 slowly coming to the end of its life cycle, millions of fans around the world wait impatiently for the next generation of Sony’s popular console. It is well known that a large part of Sony’s revenue comes from its gaming platform, therefore we should all expect that this tech giant will invest a fortune in the upcoming PlayStation 5. With the launch of this new console we will definitely see some great improvements of its specifications and features, compared to its predecessor. Let’s take a look at the rumors surrounding PS5, its competition with Xbox Two, the possible titles that will be released for this platform, as well as the expected release date of this next generation console.

PS5 will compete with Xbox Two

According to numerous reports, Sony is not the only tech company expected to launch its console in the relatively near future, as it is widely known that Microsoft is currently engaged in the process of creating its own console of the next generation. This platform, which most likely will be named Xbox Two, will be the fourth device of the very popular Xbox line. Since these two consoles are going to be released around the same time, all tech analysts expect a fierce battle between Sony and Microsoft for the title of the best gaming platform on the market.

Many experts expect an extremely intense rivalry between them when it comes to streaming. It looks like it could be the last generation of gaming platforms before this industry is fully integrated with streaming, therefore it might be the main factor in determining which one is the winner.

Some rumors also state that the launch date of Xbox Two could strongly influence the release of PS5. It is very likely that a rapid progress of Microsoft in developing their console might force Sony to speed up their works on PS5.

The opening lineup of PlayStation 5

As it always happens, Sony might want to attract potential customers using a strong opening lineup of new titles as a bait. At the moment, we can only speculate about the possible games that will be available to play on PS5, but there are some strong rumors surrounding especially these three titles: Call of Duty 2019, The Last of Us Part 2 and Black Ops 4.

When it comes to the next Call of Duty, we are almost certain that it will be part of the introductory lineup of PS5. There is also a chance that this title will make its debut on PS4, a few months before the launch of Sony’s new console. The Last of Us Part 2, the highly anticipated game whose predecessor has enjoyed a great success, is also expected to appear on PS5 once it hits the market. The third title, Black Ops 4, which might have a multiplayer mode, is expected to debut this year and as soon as PS5 launches it could become available for the new console.

When to expect PS5 and how much could it cost?

TweakTown estimates that in the most optimistic scenario, PlayStation 5 could be released as early as in 2019. This, however, can happen only if Sony will feel like the update of its platform is necessary and as long as the process of development is going well. According to some other sources, the most realistic launch year could be either 2021 or 2022.

As for the price of the upcoming PlayStation 5, it shouldn’t cost more than PS4 at the moment of its launch, but around the same amount, which means that Sony’s new console will be available for $399.

Clash Royale 2.3.4 For Android Rolled Out With New Improvements And Bug Fixes

Based on its predecessor Clash of Clans, Clash Royale mixes three of the formats that cell phone users like the most, namely, board games, tower defense, and real-time strategy. Clash Royale, developed in early 2016 by the Finnish company Supercell, has been a real success so far. Now, Clash Royale 2.3.4 for Android rolled out with new improvements and bug fixes.

About Clash Royale

The video game is mainly about managing resources to defend your villages. You can also attack other people’s villages and even form clans to participate in more significant battles. The primary goal is to gather enough resources to go to the next Arena.

Each fight lasts three minutes, and if no player has destroyed a defensive tower of his opponent in that period, there is an extra minute. If there is no winner after that time, too, the game ends in a draw, and the participants get nothing in return. On the other hand, if there is a winner, he/she receives some cups and a chest of silver, gold, giant, magical, super-magic, epic, or legendary.

In the video game, you start at level 1, and all the cards you have will also be at the same level. Also, as the score rises, the count of the cards and towers also increases.

Clash Royale 2.3.4 launched for Android

Earlier this month, the devs from Supercell released the latest Clash Royale 2.3.4 version for Android, which comes with new improvements and bug fixes.

The new version’s release note is not very descriptive when it comes to the new improvements, but some gamers talked about increased smoothness on various devices and improved game experience. As for the bug fixes, the update’s release note also doesn’t offer any details.

However, the Clash Royale for Android is a great game and, until an update with many new and fresh features would come out, you can grab the latest Clash Royale 2.3.4 version from APKMirror.

PUBG Mobile Has A Bright Future As It Just Exceeded 100 Million Downloads, Worldwide

PlayersUnkown Battlegrounds, also known as PUBG, is in the gaming landscape for some time now. Its boom in popularity was questionable at first when it launched on both the Android and iOS mobile platforms. On the other hand, some gamers believe that PUBG is the best game ever on mobile devices, although the “PUBG Vs. Fortnite” saga is far from ending. But, regardless of that, PUBG has a bright future as it just exceeded 100 million downloads, worldwide.

PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds managed to bring all the goods from console/PC version to mobile devices

In fact, PUBG playability is unrivaled in the mobile game world, and, besides, the game comes with all the features you need, including realistic graphics, an interactive environment, and intense gameplay, among others.

And all those features are more common for console or PC games, but PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds managed to bring that to mobile devices which, above all, is the ideal recipe for success.

PUBG for mobile platforms is maybe the coolest gaming adventure on Android, at least.

PUBG just exceeded 100 million downloads, worldwide, ensuring a bright future for itself

With all those facts presented above in mind, there is no surprise that PUBG managed to exceed 100 million downloads around the world. As many might see it as a heavy game with intensive graphics content, others (to be read “the majority”) consider its addictive gameplay is enough to make any possible shortcomings fade away.

Now, as PUBG mobile exceeded the 100 million downloads mark, the future for this game is brighter than it has ever been, as this achievement is the irrefutable proof that PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds for Android and iOS is a very appreciated video game.

What about the PUBG Vs. Fortnite saga?

In my opinion, there is no reason to compare two great games. However, honestly, PUBG outperforms Fortnite, to some extent. First of all, Fortnite is not available on Google Play Store, while, secondly, the game runs on a limited number of devices, is based on an invitation system, and has several restrictions that might ruin the gameplay.

As for PlayersUnknown Battlegrounds, its devs seem to work for the gamers instead of working only for profits, as a PUBG Lite version, newly released in the Philippines, make the game runnable on budget level smartphones.
