Pokemon Go Receives Additional Gen 4 Pokemon And Adds Significant Battle Changes, Too

Niantic added a few new Pokemon monsters in Pokemon Go and made some significant battle changes, too. More specifically, the company released several Gen 4 Pokemon in Pokemon Go, such as Diamond and Pearl, as well as two new evolved forms and a baby Pokemon. Also, Niantic added some changes to the trainer and raid battle gameplay.

“In our previous Community Note, we outlined some changes that came to Pokemon GO that affect your Pokemon’s effectiveness in battle. We have similar news to share today, detailing Raid Battle and move balance changes, and move set additions to the game, which you may have seen referred to in our most recent Sinnoh region update,” Niantic said via the official release notes of the new Pokemon Go update.

“For the Raid Battle changes, the featured Pokemon will now have an HP increase to offset some of the damage increases made to the attacks of other Pokemon in the last year. We hope this will provide a greater overall challenge as well as encourage Trainers to group up to win,” the company added.

Pokemon Go Receives Additional Gen 4 Pokemon And Adds Significant Battle Changes, Too

“When it comes to move balance changes and move set additions, we have been keeping an eye on how well some Pokemon are performing in battle compared to others. That means adjusting the power of some moves in Trainer Battles and giving Pokemon new moves that improve their success in matches,” Niantic added.

As for the trainer and raid battle changes that Niantic implemented recently in Pokemon Go, the company stated that the modifications in raid battle would “increase raid health for featured Pokemon in Tier 3, Tier 4, and Tier 5 Raid Battles,” while the “trainers will receive increased Stardust for completing Raid Battles.”

Also, the trainer battle moves would have damage changes. For the full release notes regarding the addition of Gen 4 Pokemon monsters in Pokemon Go and the new significant battle changes, check out PokemonGo Live, Niantic’s official Pokemon Go news portal.

PS5 New Leaks: Added Power and Possible Release Date

Almost have years have passed since Sony unleashed the PlayStation 4. The console became a hit, selling more than 80 million units by the summer of 2018.

While a beefier version has been offered in the form of the PS4 Pro, some of the fans are already looking forward to the next member of the PlayStation family. Below you can find a selection of known information and rumors that concern the future device.

Possible Release Date

A possible release date is not yet known. Sony executives have confirmed that the company is already working on the console and the development period could be quite long. A high-ranking Sony employee has declared during an interview offered in May 2018 that the next major jump in graphics could take place in the next two or three years, hinting a possible release date of 2020 or 2021.

Industry sources claim that the console will arrive earlier, most likely during the holiday season of 2019. The claim seems to be based on the fact that Sony decided to skip E3 2019, a choice that has been interpreted by some as a sign that the company is working on a big project.

Added Power

It is likely that the new generation will be able to play games at a native 4K@60fps without any problems. More power is always great but Sony will also take into account the price of the improved performance

Spec List

It is thought that the PS5 will use an advanced AMD processor. Some believe that Sony will pick an 8-core Zen GPU that will be paired with one of the upcoming Navi GPUs that are made by the same company. A bigger storage unit and a 4K Blue-ray player could also make an appearance.

Backwards Compatibility

The decision to remove backwards compatibility on PS4 lead to a disappointed fan base and many hoped that PS5 will be backwards compatible with the previous consoles.

Price Matters

Since the specs remain unknown it is hard to make a reasonable estimation, but it should be on bar with the one of the future Xbox. It is likely that the price will remain affordable as the companies will earn a huge profit from the games that made for the consoles.

Pokemon Go Update Comes Out With New Pokemon From the Sinnoh Region

Recently, Pokemon Go received a new update. It seems that the new Pokemon Go update comes out also with new Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and their respective evolutions. The Pokemon monsters of the Sinnoh region, in the Pokemon universe, emerged in Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl. They included their individual developments, but those would need unique items to happen.

“The Pokemon cited in the update included Lickilicky and Tangrowth, which evolve from Lickitung and Tangela respectively. Players must have Sinnoh Stones in order to evolve these Kanto-region Pokémon into their Sinnoh counterparts, and those aren’t easy to come by. Additional evolutions, as hinted at by attached art heralding the update are Ambipom, Gallade, and Yanmega – which come from Aipom, Kirlia, and Yanma,” Polygon reported.

Accordingly, thanks to the new Pokemon Go update, we’ll get the chance to catch Lickilicky and Tangrowth, which would develop into Lickitung and Tangela, as well as Ambipom, Gallade, and Yanmega evolutions which would come from Aipom, Kirlia, and Yanma.

Pokemon Go Update Comes Out With New Pokemon From the Sinnoh Region

“Trainers, did you know that some Pokemon originally discovered in the Sinnoh region evolve from Pokemon previously discovered in other regions? Starting today, you’ll be able to use a Sinnoh Stone to evolve Lickitung into Lickilicky, Tangela into Tangrowth, and more,” the official Pokemon Go update release noted said.

“There are also some big changes coming! You may notice that Pokemon that appear in Raid Battles are more powerful and sturdy when you challenge them. Plus, some moves that certain Pokemon know may be stronger or weaker when used in battle. Finally, certain Pokemon may be able to learn new moves via TM that will help them perform in battle, such as Machamp now being able to know the Rock-type move Rock Slide,” the release notes added.

In short, the recent Pokemon Go update comes with new Pokemon monsters from the Sinnoh region and their respective evolutions.

The Elder Scrolls 6 – The Possible Storyline and Timeline

Bethesda announced during E3 2018 that it would launch The Elder Scrolls 6 after Starfield which was, back then, scheduled to roll out after Fallout 76. Now, that Fallout 76 hit the shelves in November 2018, Bethesda is already working on Starfield and its launch, so the next in this series of new releases would come The Elder Scrolls 6. In the meantime, many speculations emerged on how the upcoming title in the Elder Scrolls franchise would be like and which storyline and timeline it would follow.

While yesterday we’ve presented you the first part of a series of articles on The Elder Scrolls 6, which debated topics such as The Elder Scrolls 6 release date, mainly, today we come with the second journey in the universe of The Elder Scrolls 6, a world about which we don’t know much, at the moment.

According to Miami Morning Star, The Elder Scrolls 6 might follow only two storylines, the most plausible one being the so-called “The Decline Of The Empire.”

The Elder Scrolls 6 – The Possible Storyline and Timeline

Judging on how the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim ended, we presume that The Elder Scrolls 6 would bring the gamers in the middle of a war between The Empire and The Thalmor, as The Empire seemed vulnerable at the end of the Skyrim title. Even before the storyline of Skyrim, The Empire lost vast territories over The Thalmor.

With the Empire previously losing Morrowind to the Black Marsh, then the Summerset Isles, Valenwood and Elsweyr to the Aldmeri Dominion, and Hammerfell after the peace agreement, in Skyrim it again faced the Stormcloak Rebellion. The Empire is declining, and The Elder Scrolls VI might be when a great war begins again, with the Thalmor trying to conquer the weakened Empire…

Miami Morning Star

As for what timeline we’ll see in The Elder Scrolls 6, Bethesda might fast forward so that the player would be thrown into a world where The Empire would be on the brink of destruction. The gamer might struggle to stop The Thalmore from taking over The Empire. At the moment, this is just a theory since Bethesda revealed nothing about The Elder Scrolls 6. Also, there is a second theory on The Elder Scrolls 6 possible storyline and timeline, about which we’ll discuss in a future article, so keep in touch.
