Fallout 76 Is Not Going To Become A Free-To-Play Game, Although It’s The Worst Game of The Series

Recently, Bethesda removed physical copies of Fallout 76 from stores in various regions. Soon afterward, rumors have emerged saying that Bethesda has been doing that in preparation for the transition of Fallout 76 to a free-to-play game. But Bethesda is not going to do that, although Fallout 76 is the worst game of the series so that not many gamers are willing to give money for it.

“Fallout 76 goes Free-to-Play, I want my money back. Straight up. 500 Atoms ain’t gonna cut it this time. As a diehard fan, there’d be no coming back to that slap in the face,” said an upset gamer on Twitter. Bethesda replied to him by saying that “there is no truth to this rumor.”

Even though the game will still be available for money, Bethesda cut off Fallout 76’s price considerably. Now, you can buy it from Amazon, for example, with only $40, which is by $20 less costly than the launch price.

Bethesda acknowledged that the fans are not happy with the game and tried to apologize to the gamers by letting them download Fallout Classic Collection, which contains Fallout, Fallout Tactics, and Fallout 2. However, only those who logged into Fallout 76 before the end of 2018 would get this offer. Also, the Fallout Classic Collection is only available for PC, but Fallout 76 gamers on every platform can download it.

Fallout 76 launched with a lot of bugs, disappointing the fans. Also, the sales were way below the level of Fallout 4 in 2015, and there were even fewer players than during the Fallout 76 BETA period. That could mean that gamers had already seen a lot of this game before its official launch so that they started looking for other, new titles.

Besides all that, Fallout 76 can become a decent game if Bethesda would change the game’s basic gameplay systems. The games studio has already done that before with its The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but achieving the same with Fallout 76 is much more challenging.

Pokemon Go Community Day of February 2019 Already Announced by Niantic

As February is about one week away, it’s the ideal time for Niantic to tease us with details about the Pokemon Go Community Day of February 2019. And indeed, Niantic announced new information on the next event in Pokemon Go which would take place Saturday, February 16th.

“Get out and play together in your local community parks on Pokemon Go Community Day. For just a few hours each month, you can encounter a special Pokemon in the wild. During these hours, there’s a chance to learn a previously unavailable move for that Pokemon or its Evolution, as well as earn some Community Day bonuses. Celebrate what it means to be a part of the Pokemon GO community and make new friends along the way,” explained Niantic the concept of Pokemon Go Community Day.

The Pokemon Go Community Day of February 2019 would feature Swinub Pokemon. It would appear more frequently in the wild, and players can grab a Shiny Swinub during the event, too.

Any Swinub will evolve Mamoswine, its final form, within hours after the event ends. It would also learn a special move, but Niantic did not mention which one would that be. Mamoswine was one of the evolved forms released in Pokemon Go along with the fourth-generation titles. To develop a Swinub into Mamoswine you’d need the Sinnoh Stone, a newly introduced evolutionary item in Pokemon Go.

You can gain a Sinnoh Stone via Trainer Battles, during Pokemon Go Community Day events when coaches have the chance to get up to five Sinnoh Stones by fighting other players.

Pokemon Go Community Day of February 2019 would take place on February 16th between 2 PM and 5 PM ET (10 AM – 1 PM UTC for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa). It would feature Swinub and its Shiny version, as well.

Co-writer Dan Houser shared some thoughts with GQ in an interview. “It’s really unclear what we would even do with [GTA 6], let alone how upset people would get with whatever we did. Both intense liberal progression and intense conservatism are both very militant, and very angry,” Houser told GQ.

Therefore, the studio is trying to find the perfect moment for the launch. “It is scary but it’s also strange, and yet both of them seem occasionally to veer towards the absurd.
