The Sims Mobile 10.1.0.158018 Update

This is a highly popular game that has more than one million of downloads combined on iOS and Android devices. The coolest thing about this game is not only the fact that players have endless possibilities when it comes to customization, but the fact that the developer are doing their best to keep the game fresh and this is where new updates come in.

The latest update for The Sims Mobile changes the game’s build number to “10.1.0.158018” and it is available right now. Although, we should mention that the update has been published in form of APK which means that Android users are the only who can get their hands on it at the moment. Nonetheless, the update will be rolled out OTA (over the air) to everyone in the upcoming weeks.

Weeding Quest

Just like you would expect from a new update, The Sims Mobile will receive some cool in-game content. The Sims Mobile players will be able to say “I do” in a Wedding Quest which is going to reward them with the “Honeymoon Suite” bedroom set. Not just that, but players will also receive the “Baroque Living Room” that comes bundled with an awesome looking fireplace that’s paired with new furniture.

With that being said, The Sims Mobile players are going to have a blast with the new in-game content that’s just been added. I can only imagine how awesome some houses are going to look now that players have received access to a fireplace.

iOS 11 Electra Jailbreak Tool Receives 1.1.30-coolstar6-2 Update

Jailbreak fans who are using the Electra tool should be happy to know that CoolStar started rolling out the brand-new Cydia installer “1.1.30-coolstar6-2” update. The reason why jailbreak fans should get excited about the new update is that it is packed with a bunch of enhancements which are going to provide people who own iPhones or iPads that are jailbroken with the iOS 11 Electra tool.

New Cydia Installer Update

The last major Cydia update arrived six weeks ago on March 20th and CoolStar had enough time to develop some software tweaks which are going to enhance the tool. The interesting thing about the March 20th release and the new update is that both have new naming conventions which serve the purpose of showing people that they are a bifurcation of the original and certified Cydia that was launched by the famous Saurik.

What’s New?

The biggest change that the new “1.1.30-coolstar6-2” update contains is related to the Packhix and Hashbang (Chariz). The two will set as default repos from now on. In addition, the update’s changelog also mentions that some issues might pop up and what fans need to do in order to make them go away.

“If you get duplicate Packages error after updating Cydia, delete Hasbang and Packix repo from Cydia (it will not actually delete; it will only remove the duplicate entry)” said the developer in the changelog.

Two New Default Repository

What we can take from the update’s changelog is that CoolStar has introduced two new default repositories for Cydia. What this means is that Cydia users who installed the new update will have instant access to packages and content hosted on Packix and Hashbang serves. We should also mention that the new update can be installed directly on top of the previous one.

Ian Beer Discovers Major iOS 11.3 Flaw – Possible Jailbreak Incoming

Ian Beer is a known computer security expert that has a reputation for always finding flaws in Apple’s iOS operating system. The computer security expert shares these flaws and they usually play a major role in jailbreaking new versions of iOS. The latest security flaw that Ian Beer discovered was related to iOS 11.0-11.1.2 which helped developers create the first jailbreak tool for iOS 11.

iOS 11.3.1 Exploit

With that being said, we think it’s safe to say that iOS fans should be enthusiastic to find out that Ian beer recently published a new iOS 11.3.1 flaw. We should mention that iOS 11.3 has yet to be cracked, but this new flaw might point developers in the right direction. Things get even better than this since Ian Beer already posted the POC information about the new exploit and everyone can access it.

Apple is Quick to Respond

The interesting thing about this exploit is that Apple was quick to respond to it. The Cupertino based tech giant included a fix for the exploit in iOS 11.31., but this doesn’t mean that Apple fans will not be able to jailbreak their smartphone if a tool does come out.

People who own devices that are running a version of iPhone and iPad software that is smaller than iOS 11.3.1 will be able to benefit from the new exploit. Ian Beer announced that the discovered this security flaw back in February. This is what Ian Beer has to say about the flaw: “MacOS/iOS ReportCrash match port replacement due to failure to respect MIG ownership rules.”

Early Stages

Ian Beer himself said that this exploit could potentially be used by a jailbreak developer to create a tool that might crack iOS 11.3.1. However, the tool would still be in the early stages and we need to wait a little more until we get a stable version.

Microsoft Surface book 2 vs. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga – Best Specs, Features and Improvements Comparison

If you are feeling like you want both incredible quality and a laptop that is convertible, turning into a tablet, then you may find yourself torn between these two options. They seem to be quite different but we believe that they are similar in more aspects than some belief. Today we will be looking at these features.

Tablet change

For Microsoft, the change is very smooth with the laptop turning into a light tablet whereas Lenovo lets you flip the screen around while the keyboard retracts. This does not imply that these systems make them either better or worse, it is all up to the user’s preference.

Display value

Both of these laptops come with incredible screens that reflect the lever of color accuracy and anti-reflectiveness that they have. Moreover, the screen can also become very bright on both of them, getting rid of that pesky dark screen on a sunny day with bull brightness on problem. We can only say that this is a draw.

Which is faster?

Here we might find it difficult to answer because it highly depends on what you are measuring. We will have to say that we are talking about SPU power we have to say that both are just as good. When we are talking about graphics, however, Microsoft does get the upper hand since it runs on NVIDIA top of the line graphic cards whereas Lenovo uses an Intel one which is still good, but not good enough in comparison.

Which is more expensive?

Now do not be fooled, they are both quite expensive. Despite this, they are both amazing on their own and the Microsoft Surface Book 2 is going to cost you a lot, 3,299 dollars to be more exact. Compared to Lenovo, which stands at 2,465 dollars it sure looks like the more expensive option.

Google Maps v9.77 Update Download Available with a Host of New Features

Google has just offered a new updated version of Google Maps and we believe that it is our goal to tell you what is new with this update and what the major tech company decided to add and to change to their app.

All the changes in one place

If you are one of those people that want to save a place and add it to your list then you are in luck since Google has just redesigned the look of these lists, making it more aesthetic. You can now see a picture of the venue once you tap on it with a couple of added buttons: Add, Edit and even Share.

Google Maps now has a new toggle which lets users ask others for their location whereas before you had to be the one sharing it. The feature looks to be fully implemented but not online yet which means that Google has something to tweak before making it official. However, you can find this feature in the update already.

A change of design seems to have been happening for the “Your places” age as well, with Google going for a more pure white aesthetic. Here opinions will always vary based on the person’s personal tasted so we will not comment on it.

Last but not least, the contributions page of Google Maps has also received a number of small tweaks, the most interesting thing being that Google decided to play around for a bit with the names of a couple of features. For example “Most helpful” is now “Most relevant” and so on. The most interesting is perhaps the fact that there is now a “Lowest rating” option which would certainly make things interesting when you are looking a place up and want to find out who left the lowest rating and (if they left a comment) why.
