Pokemon Go April Community Day – Rumors Appeared Online, Talking About Possible Pokemon Monsters

If you are a Pokemon Go fan, you will be excited to hear that the Ralts spawn rates will increase during the Pokemon Go April Community Day or Bagon or Slakoth could take its place. Regarding the April 2019 Community Day event, details are still on their way, and Pokemon Go fans are waiting.

You should note in your calendar the 13th and 14th of April dates because this is when the April 2019 Community Day event is tipped to take place. Any potential clash with Easter weekend will this way be avoided. The Pokemon Go Community Day will not take place during the weekend of 6th and 7th April as it is too soon, but there are chances it can also happen during the weekend of April 27/28.

During Pokemon Go Community Day events, there is always a Pokemon taking center stage, and fans are excited to find out which one of them will be this time. Hardcore Pokemon Go fans decided to talk more about the next Community Day contender in a new post on Reddit, and the predictions are fun to read.

What might the Pokemon Go April Community Day bring?

Psychic/Fairy Pokemon Ralts, according to the overwhelming majority of fans, will star in the next month’s Pokemon Go Community Day event. Slakoth is another Pokemon that seems to be appearing soon. If you have not gotten a Slaking or a Vigoroth, this would be ideal. An addition to the Pokemon Go Community Day lineup will also be welcomed by Bagon, especially with such a powerful Pokemon being provided by Salamence.

Rhyhorn and Trapinch could also have a chance of being in the event along with Chichar, Turtwig, and Piplup, which are Gen 4 starter Pokemon. We should hear more from Niantic later this week when an official announcement on Pokemon Go April Community Day would come out. During the Community Day events, players are given a chance to capture and evolve specific Pocket Monsters, so you have no reasons to miss the upcoming Pokemon Go Community Day.

Pokemon Go Might Bring Massive Upgrades, Says Dataminer

Pokemon Go players might soon get some new amazing features, according to the famous Pokemon Go dataminer Chrales. The next two features could mean a massive upgrade to the game.

Adventure Sync ‘Awareness’ & Lucky Friends

On his Twitter account, Chrales shared the following information with the public:

New feature of Adventure Sync : “awareness”

“Now Adventure Sync can notify you about nearby new Pokémon!”

“Adventure Sync can find nearby new Pokémon even while Pokémon GO is closed!”

As you can see above, “Awareness” will tell players when a Pokemon is close. Adventure Sync will be able to use the feature to find nearby Pokemon even when the app is closed. The current Adventure Sync only tracks how much you walk when the app is closed, so you can hatch eggs and collect Buddy Candy while not in the game. Adding the “awareness” to Adventure Sync is a huge improvement, and it’s far easier than having to check your phone constantly to see if a Pokemon is near!

The second feature is called Lucky Friends, and it will let you become… lucky friends with a person and your trades will become Lucky, meaning that you can trade Lucky Pokemon:

“{0} and you became Lucky Friends!”

“Your next trade with this friend will be Lucky!”

“Your next trade together will be Lucky! This means both Pokémon traded will become Lucky Pokémon.”

He also added a last post about the Leaf Tornado we mentioned in our previous article about the Equinox Event:

As for when we will see these two new features added to Pokemon Go, we have no clue yet. Will we be able to have more than one Lucky friend or trade more than one lucky Pokemon? We will soon see it if Niantic goes public with the update. At the moment, Pokemon Go has reached v. 0.137.2 – the update was released last week, no changes added, and only came with bug fixes.

Pokemon Go Equinox Event Live: Full Schedule, Shiny Oddish Reveal?

With spring finally making an appearance and everything turning green, Niantic Labs wasn’t going to miss on the occasion! They’re celebrating the rebirth of nature with a new event that will focus on Oddish, a Grass-type Pokémon.

Pokemon Go Equinox Event: Schedule, Rewards, Shinies!

No matter what you like to do in Pokemon Go, there are different things out there. Let’s see what you should expect during the Pokemon Go Equinox Event.

The Equinox event will have Grass-type Pokemon spawn a lot more often than before, so expect to see Oddish, Exeggcute, Shroomish, and Sunkern in the world. We will also see some shinies, changes to the raids and trainer battles, research tasks and more.

Schedule

The Equinox Event starts Tuesday, March 19 at 4 p.m. EST, and will end on March 26 at 4 p.m. EST.

We mentioned that Oddish will appear in the game and that we will see some shinies. Niantic didn’t confirm whether Shiny Oddish will make an appearance during the event, and the photo of the Pokemon only reveals the regular Gen 1 Grass and Poison-type Pokémon.

Oddish and its evolutions didn’t come in Shiny versions in Pokémon Go, but maybe the rare version will come during this event. The Shiny Oddish has a Green color instead of the blue one.

Research Tasks and Rewards

The event’s research tasks can be obtained from PokeStops, and the rewards should be the Grass-type Pokémon.

Switching Pokemon

Solrock and Lunatone from the Hoenn region will shift their spawning habitat during this event: Lunatone is now in West, and Solrock in East, but when the event will begin, they will swap places so that trainers can catch them both. After the event finishes, the two will remain in the new habitats.

Raids and Bosses

Expect to see Bosses in raids be replaced with Grass-type Pokémon.

New Moves For Your Pokemon

We will also see new moves: Acid Spray (Poison-type) and Leaf Tornado (Grass-type), both moves that can be learned by Poison-type and Grass-type Pokemon:

Acid Spray move: Arbok, Victreebel, Tentacruel, Muk, Alolan Muk, Quagsire, Qwilfish, Octillery, Swalot.

Leaf Tornado move: Shiftry, Victreebel.

Stay close for more updates about the event!

Pokemon Go can be found in Google Play Store or the App Store. Alteratively, you can get the current version of the Pokemon Go APK file – 0.137.2 (updated on 14 March), which can be safely sideloaded on your handheld device. You may download it from APKMirror.

Pokemon Go Special Raid Event Leaked, Suggesting We’ll Get Shiny Alakazam As Raid Boss

According to a news report, we’ll have the chance to fight Shiny Alakazam as a Raid Boss in an upcoming Pokemon Go Special Raid event that recently leaked over the Internet.

GamingIntel, however, was the first that received exclusive information about Shiny Alakazam and its appearance as a Raid Boss in a Pokemon Go Specia Raid event that would take place next month. According to GamingIntel, the following info popped up:

  • Alakazam Raid Boss Battle
  • Date: April 7th, 2019
  • Details: 5 passes free
  • Duration: 3 hours of Raid
  • Shiny or Normal? Shiny

A Pokemon Go Special Raid Event happens each month. In the previous ones, we had Rayquaza, this month, in March, and Latias, last month, in February.

“Get ready for a special raid event in Pokémon Go! Although it will probably appear in the second week of April, we cannot be less hyped about encountering the Shiny Alakazam in Pokémon Go as a Raid Boss. It should be epic,” reported MiamiMorningStar.

We’ll fight Shiny Alakazam as Raid Boss in April’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event

The next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event wouldn’t represent the first time Alakazam will appear in Pokemon Go. However, it would be the first time it would come to the game in its Shiny variant.

According to the leak, the Shiny Alakazam would come in pink instead of its regular brown color, while it might also present different animations when it spawns. Shiny Alakazam would boost the statistics as follows, according to the leak:

  • Max CP: 3057
  • Attack: 271
  • Defense: 167
  • Stamina: 146
  • Strongest Moves: Confusion and Futuresight

Gengar, Handoom, Honchkrow, Mewtwo, Tyranitar, and Weaving are the Pokemon monsters that would be the Raid counters for Shiny Alakazam in the next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event.

Niantic should soon announce the April’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event, so we won’t have long to wait for getting whether the confirmation or not of the presence of Shiny Alakazam in the next month’s Pokemon Go Special Raid event.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite By Niantic Could Become More Popular Than Pokemon Go

When you combine Pokemon Go with J.K. Rowling’s universe of Harry Potter, you’ll get Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. This title is the next in line from Niantic, the creators of the fan-favorite Pokemon Go. And it seems that Harry Potter: Wizards Unite could become even more popular than Pokemon Go, as the game would be a more sophisticated AR experience.

Niantic rolled out Pokemon Go in 2016, and the game was quick to turn into a very popular title on Android and iOS. With tons of fans and dozens of special events and new content regularly added, Pokemon Go made Niantic become one of the world’s top game studios.

Now, the developers plan to plunge deeper than ever into the world of augmented reality with the future Harry Potter: Wizards Unit. This upcoming title would feature the improved base concept of Pokemon Go, and it would replace Pokemons with characters from the Harry Potter franchise. Also, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite would be more sophisticated than Pokemon Go.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite by Niantic might turn out as a more popular game than Pokemon Go

At first glance, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite looks quite similar to Pokemon Go, the most significant hit of Niantic, launched in 2016. However, under the hood, the game involves several systems at work that would attract the fans of the famous Harry Potter franchise.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite would involve the players into searching and collecting various artifacts and characters, while the gamers would also have to save significant personages from the Harry Potter series, including Harry Potter, from a variety of dangerous situations. The game would also feature some mini-games, such as those designed to create spells.

While it looks straightforward at first, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is quite challenging with many novelties and gameplay changes in comparison with Pokemon Go. The best thing is that, soon, die-hard fans of the Harry Potter franchise could see the world created by J.K. Rowling in real life thanks to augmented reality. Judging on the popularity of the Harry Potter series, the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite might become more popular than Pokemon Go. We’ll find out this year, though, when the game should roll out.
