According to the recent iPad Pro leaks, emerging online more and more, as the Apple October event gets closer, reveal that the new iPad Pro would look more sophisticated than a tablet. Until now, rumors were talking about an iPad Pro with Face ID, thinner bezels, a new Apple Pen, and 4K HDR support. Designed especially for animators, architects, and designers requiring a fantastic display for their work, the new iPad Pro might feature a compact plasma screen. Yesterday, new renders emerged online showing how the upcoming Apple tablet might look like.

The first of the three CAD images reveals a horizontal iPad Pro with very slim bezels, lower thickness, and no home button, suggesting for the implementation of Face ID.

According to the other two images, the upcoming iPad Pro would be 5.86-millimeters thick, by about 0.3 slimmer than the previous models. Also, the pics confirmed that the new Apple tablet would come in two variants, one with 11-inch screen and another with a 12.9-inch display.

iPad Pro Leaks Suggest What The Apple October Event Might Hold For Us

The recent iPad Pro leaks emerged at first on Twitter, thanks to the leaker Benjamin Geskin, and then they appeared on the SlashLeaks site. A few hours later, the before-mentioned website posted more renders of the upcoming Apple tablet.

The images and the recent rumors on the upcoming iPad Pro suggest for a tablet with slimmer bezels, no home button, and reduced thickness. However, according to other leaks, the future iPad Pro would come with a 10.5-inch display. But all the leaks on the new Apple tablet hint at a device without a notch.

We will find more details about that during the Apple October event which, according to the previous years’ similar events, might take place during the week of October 8 (which is almost over) or October 15.

Fortnite for Android Is Finally Available For Everyone

Fortnite is one of the most popular games at the moment with millions of players on the different platforms the title is available. Now, finally, the renowned Battle Royale title Fortnite for Android is available for everyone.

Up till now, Android users who wanted to play Fortnite beta version required an invitation to join the testing program for the game. Luckily, Epic Games has now made the beta version available for everyone who possesses a compatible Android device.

How to install Fortnite for Android

Fortnite Battle Royale came to Android in August, but only on compatible Samsung Galaxy devices. However, since then, Epic Games’ title supports more smartphones. Unfortunately, the game is very demanding, so if you have an older device don’t expect to run Fortnite at its maximum level of details. Also, low- and mid-range phones might not run the game at all.

Also, Fortnite comes with a stand-alone installation package so that you won’t find the game on Google Play Store, as usual. Thus, to install the game, you need to access “fortnite.com/android” with your Android device or scan the QR code on the Epic Games website. Once you’ve done that, the package would start downloading.

And, now Fortnite for Android is finally available for everyone with compatible devices, so you don’t need anymore to sign up for the beta version.

Check out if you can run Fortnite for Android

As I’ve mentioned already, Fortnite for Android is a quite demanding title, so not every smartphone is compatible.

According to Epic Games, Fortnite Battle Royale runs smoothly on Samsung Galaxy (S7/S7 Edge, S8/S8+, S9/S9+, Note 8, Note 9, Tab S3, Tab S4), Google (Pixel/Pixel XL, Pixel 2/Pixel 2 XL), Asus (ROG Phone, Zenfone 4 Pro, 5Z, V), Essential PH-1, Huawei (Honor 10, Honor Play, Mate 10/Pro, Mate RS, Nova 3, P20/Pro, V10), LG (G5, G6, G7 ThinQ, V20, V30/V30+), Nokia 8, OnePlus (5/5T, 6), Razer Phone, Xiaomi (Blackshark, Mi 5/5S/5S Plus, 6/6 Plus, Mi 8/8 Explorer/8SE, Mi Mix, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Note 2), ZTE (Axon 7/7s, Axon M, Nubia/Z17/Z17s, Nubia Z11), HTC (10, U Ultra, U11/U11+, U12+), Lenovo (Moto Z/Z Droid, Moto Z2 Force), Sony (Xperia XZ/Premium, Xzs, XZ1/Compact, XZ2/Premium/Compact, XZ3).

However, if your device is not listed above, your smartphone can run Fortnite for Android if it has Android 8.0 or higher (64-bit build), 3 GB of RAM or higher, and Adreno 530 or higher, Mali-G71 MP20, Mali-G72 MP12 or higher.

Petro (PTR) New White Paper Clears Up Some Aspects Regarding The Venezuelan National Cryptocurrency

The Venezuelan government has been developing a price structure that uses Petro (PTR) as a unit of measure. Bank balances have begun to show their equivalence in Petro cryptocurrency and, little by little, the prices of products and services are made public with their equivalent in this crypto. However, Venezuelans still do not have precise information about the payment process that will be followed using this instrument, nor about the technological infrastructure that will be used for this purpose.

Although Petro (PTR), the Venezuelan cryptocurrency backed by oil, has been developing since last year, there is still no clarity as to how it would be implemented in the national economy. A new version of the White Paper was recently published, revealing technical details and the ecosystem of consumption and flow of this cryptocurrency.

In some shopping centers in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, the price of parking fees has been published in Petro (PTR), while the government of the South American country also published a table of certain products’ costs and their equivalent in Petro (PTR).

So far, the Venezuelan government has not informed its citizens about the digital payment platform that will use this cryptocurrency. And although a version of the Petro (PTR) wallet was launched, until now, it has not been possible to carry out operations with the cryptocurrency.

The new Petro (PTR) White Paper clears up some aspects regarding this Venezuelan cryptocurrency

According to the latest version of the White Paper, in addition to using a “hybrid consensus” and the X11 algorithm, it was established that its price would not be backed only to oil, but also to other Venezuelan commodities. 50% of PTR value will depend directly on oil, 20% on gold, 20% on iron, while 10% on diamonds.

As explained in the document, the cryptocurrency will have its own blockchain, which will use a hybrid consensus mechanism between Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS), and will have blocks of 4MB, which will be generated every 60 seconds. All these features are very similar to the current operation of Dash (DASH).

The confirmations of the transactions with Petro (PTR) will be made after 10 blocks, and the cryptocurrency will boast the InstanSend feature to guarantee the immediate sending of the operations.

Despite all these technical details, there are still not enough practical elements for Venezuelan citizens to know for sure how the Petro (PTR) cryptocurrency transactions will work.

Apple streaming service to offer movies and original Apple series for free but only for its customers

Apple is preparing a new video streaming service that will combine original content and third-party services from traditional media companies, that is, more or less similar to what Netflix is offering on its platform. In this way, the owners of at least one Apple device, such as the iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, to name a few, will be able to access the upcoming service for free.

As previously announced, Apple is working on its own production series and probably on some movies, as well. These contents will be included in the new Apple streaming platform for free, but only for the those who own at least one Apple device. In this way, we will have a mixed service with free Apple movies and series and paid content from other services such as HBO.

At the moment there is no estimated date for the launch of the Apple streaming service, but spokespersons of the American brand have suggested that the app could arrive early next year, along with the several updates for iOS and TvOS.

According to the recent news on Galaxy A9, the device would be the first smartphone with four cameras on its back in the world. As reported, the Galaxy A9 handset would boast one 24-megapixel sensor with autofocus, a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom for detailed close-ups, an ultra-wide lens, and a depth lens that permits users to manage the photo’s focus and field.

On the other hand, Samsung joins the competition of enhanced cameras systems launched by Huawei and LG. Now, however, Samsung, along with Apple, its biggest rival in the smartphone industry, is also facing the competition coming from China, such as Xiaomi and ZTE, both struggling to release more performant devices.
