Active players will be able to enjoy a new special event which will be available until March 12. During the Battle Showdown, lucky players will be able to catch two Shiny Pokemon.

Players who participate in the event will have a higher chance to catch fighter-type Pokemon monsters like Mankey, Machop, and Makuhita as they will spawn more often in the wild. Those that are lucky will be able to capture shiny versions of Mankey and Machop.

Other features are also offered during the event. If you catch a Pokémon, the quantity of Star Dust obtained for each one will be doubled, and the same bonus is available for fighting and raids. A double XP bonus is also active for Gym Badges.
